Today I tucked my glasses into my pocket and walked without them. It was quite nice, to be honest. Like putting a woozy Instagram filter on the world. The edges of everything softened and blurred. Not a terrible thing at this early hour. Today I was focused not only on walking a sort of baseline sadness away, but also on being … a newspaper fairy. I had been considering this for ages (since yesterday) and today I was gloved up and fully prepared.
That's a really nice thing to do. I'm always paranoid people think I'm stealing their paper. I deliver the local neighbourhood watch newsletter and always do it early in the morning or late at night. Never sure about putting it in the letterboxes that say "Australia Post mail only". But I'm sure my neighbours will want to know what is happening around the 'hood.

Oh Pip! I loved everything about the recount of this morning walk. Nice to amble the street with you lovely paper fairy! Xx
Oh, snowdrops are the first signs of Spring coming ♥️
