Okay. It’s been a little minute, but here I am. Since I last wrote the days have been a bit hard, I will admit, and I have been swimming very close to the dark weeds. Luckily I am a determined and fortunate bugger. I have managed to paddle slowly away from the gloom-mood albeit doing a rather clumsy stroke. I am balancing feeling teary under the doona with concentrating on the good things. I’m working on carving out future better days … even if they are a couple of months away.
Eh love, it's been pretty hard here too. I've resolved to walk in the mornings instead of the afternoons and seriously limit my media and social media intake because so much of it makes me so angry my chest hurts and I can hardly breathe. And try to get back to yoga a few times a week. It helped hugely the first time I was like this, all the way back in 1986. I'm less than one week into the regimen and improved. Saw the kids yesterday for the first time in months which was all kinds of joy.
So sorry to hear the Tassie move didn't work out. We'll be putting out the welcome mat for you in Melbourne. x
Pip, you are such an amazing human, I hope you know that. Tim once asked me who were the people I admired & I said you for all the goodness you put out in the world. I hope that goodness comes back to you in spades because you really deserve a break. The other person I said I admired was Caitlin Moran so you know, you’re in great company!
Also, I signed up to hungry hungry pippo (EXCELLENT name!) last night. I cannot wait!
I'm really sad this hasn't worked out for you Pip. Moving is so $$$ and stressful, neither of which you need right now. Here's too brighter days, with less chaos and more calm.

Can’t wait to read your Hungry Hungry Pippo pages! Looking at your food posts is fun, and you might even encourage me to start cooking again!

I’m sorry that life has been so tricksy but I’m glad that you’re managing to swim towards safer shores. Love to you, you marvellous human bean xx
