Raining! Thus another chapter of my lockdown one sort-of-memoir today … Read chapter one Read chapter two Read chapter three Read chapter four Read chapter five Read chapter six Read chapter seven Chapter Eight Day 7 – 11775 steps The Queen turned 94 today, Donald Trump referred to coronavirus as “the invisible enemy” banning all immigration to the US and I, Pip Lincolne, discovered that my undies could chafe the tip-top of my inner thighs savagely when I did a longer walk.
Whenever I walk I get swollen hands too & I often wonder if people think I'm a weirdo as I walk clenching & unclenching my fists.
I like that food is popping up. It makes me sad to read that you have not had an appetite because when I think of you I think of food ( & crochet & colour!).
How sad it is that so many good men seem to have no idea of how their actions can impact women.
All because of a few men who do bad things.
This is such interesting reading for me, I'm very good, or is it bad? At forgetting that other people are going through similar feelings and experiences to me. I'm not such a special snowflake after all.
Hey Pip, have a look at the website 'Women Want Adventure'. I've been getting their emails for a while now, but live too far away from any of their outings - maybe one day for me, but with you being more metro based they might have a walk/hike/canoe trip or something that might start you on your bigger adventure :) https://www.womenwantadventure.com.au
I often wonder what it would be like to live life without an abundance of empathy - our most precious gifts that make us who we are can also be our greatest curse! Still, I’d rather feel way too much about things than not feel anything at all. And Pip, please, I urge you not to put your phone in your bra - I sent you a pm about it in messenger. 🤗💜😘

Cheers Kate.
Have you read Ruby Wax book(s) on Mindfulness? Sane New World: Taming the Mind is very interesting
